At Concentrics, all account managers have extensive experience in marketing and communications. This depth of knowledge provides an important foundation for assessing client needs and structuring a marketing strategy that will deliver the desired results. With all projects, we work hard to give our clients exceptional value in terms of quality of work, personal attention, turnaround time and cost.
Jo Hunter, founder and owner of the agency, was manager of Employee Communications at Integon Corporation before forming her own company in 1973. As an independent, she worked extensively with Wachovia Corporation as editor of Wachovia's corporate magazine, as well as writing the corporate history and other marketing and employee communications materials from the late 1970s until 2002. During that same period, she also assisted other businesses across the Triad with their marketing communication needs.
Jo has written annual reports for numerous financial institutions, as well as the Chancellor's Annual Report for Winston-Salem State University. She is editor of BB&T Wealth magazine and provides writing for a variety of business lines at BB&T Corporation, professional firms, retailers, specialty companies, foundations and nonprofits.
John Hunter, Principal and Creative Director, is the lead graphic designer for Concentrics. His experience includes logo design and brand development for institutions including the Junior League, the Enrichment Center's Gateway Gallery, the 2006 and 2007 annual Hospice Run, B&H Insurance and Thomas Bus.
In addition to his work for BB&T, John works with a number of small businesses and nonprofits, doing brand development as well as design and photography for brochures, newsletters, ads and websites.
Lynn Castaneda, Principal and Lead Account Manager, was Vice President and Manager of the BB&T@Work sales acquisition program before joining Concentrics in October 2007. She has 18 years of marketing experience in addition to several years of experience in market research, program and product development, sales management and communications.
Lynn has developed and implemented corporate marketing programs, including retail advertising, direct mail matrix programs and an internet database sales management website. While employed at BB&T, she introduced and built a primary retail account acquisition strategy, supervised retail deposit marketing initiatives and served as Core Segment Manager.
